Talk #2: The new gold rush: How engineering teams at Klarna leverage AI to build better products
Antonio Trapani, Lead Engineer, Klarna

Abstract:
Race to space is being followed by race to AI — today's most trending topic. Let's dig into how a big modern company like Klarna took immediately advantage of OpenAI technologies to boost business, product features, and performances. We'll cover the work of several Klarna teams that used ChatGPT to improve existing projects or create new interesting stuff.

Speaker bio:
After a degree in Computer Engineering and first jobs, Antonio became tech leader at Fubles, the largest Italian online platform with more than 800K users helping people organize football matches. He then worked for CloudAcademy, an online enterprise platform for cloud technologies training, where he led the frontend team and used his spare time to interview techies — all in a desperate attempt to find the super-duper-talented-hero of his dreams. He learned how to "Start small, learn fast" when founding Plainflow Inc. in the US, a SAAS for marketing automation. He failed, and learning turned into: "Start small, learn fast, until running out of money". After, Moneymour hit Antonio's heart and Antonio hit Moneymour's heart. There he developed a bunch of undisclosed things for the backend and the frontend.

Today, Antonio is the Lead Engineer in the Decisioning Banking Servicing domain at Klarna.
